Lisa C. Turner

Lisa C. Turner is a native Washingtonian.  She is a product of the Washington, DC public school system having graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1983.  

In 2001, she satisfied the course requirements for a certificate in Biblical Studies from Calvary Bible Institute, Washington, DC, and continues to pursue her education in Christian Ministry.  

She is a member of The House of Healing, DMV, Washington, DC. 

In April 2007, she founded Touch and Agree Ministries a Women’s Prayer Ministry and served as the Executive Director, a mentor and confidant to wives, widows, and single women until December 2020.  

Lisa Turner is blessed to have served on prayer teams, as an Armor Bearer, as well as afforded the opportunity to share the word of God at Women’s support groups, retreats, and shelters, including the YWCA, (Young Women’s Christian Association, Inc. of Wash, DC), and more.

In December 2015, she published her first book titled, “HOPE for the Family, The Power of Prayer and Fasting.” Most recently, she gave birth to the vision for HOPE Deliverance Ministries, Inc., “No More Chains,” serving and supporting women in reaching their God-ordained Purpose!

She is married to Lawrence Turner, Jr. (30 years). Along with her husband, she shares the blessing of a daughter, Sherrie’ N. Turner and is the proud mother of one son, Lawrence Turner, III and grandmother of five: Jaiyda, Jaiyana, Jhye, Jayce, and Liyah. 


The most important thing to know about her is that she loves the Lord!  She has a passion for prayer, empowering women, and for sharing a message of HOPE for any situation. 


Her motto is, “There is HOPE in God and Power in Prayer!”
